ANNUAL MEETING TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 17th
East River Federal Credit Union's 67th Annual Meeting and Member Appreciation will be held next Tuesday, September 17th with food starting at 5:00pm and the Annual Meeting at 5:30pm. It will be held at East River FCU, 220 S. Harth Ave. Madison, SD in the south parking lot. We'll have food, fun, giveaways and prizes!
Nominees for Open Board of Directors Positions
In accordance with the Credit Union’s bylaws, the Nominating Committee selected by the Board has chosen a slate of candidates to stand election for the Annual Meeting. The following individuals are being nominated by the Committee for the open positions:

All elections are determined by plurality vote and will be by ballot at the Annual Meeting except where there is only one nominee for the expiring term. Each individual member, 18 years of age or older, represents one vote in East River FCU elections. Joint account holders and authorized account signers are not members in their own right and are not eligible to vote. Members cannot vote by proxy.

Jason D. Martin - Madison, SD
Statement of Interest: I would be interested in becoming the next member of the board for East River FCU. I feel as though my prior business experience as well as my willingness to be a forward thinking, progressive individual, I would be able to be an asset to the board and the members. Having been on multiple boards in different capacities, I have a strong drive to be an active participant of board functions. Being a member (co member spouse) of the credit union since 2003, I have always been a proponent of the credit union and the basis by which a credit union originated.
Kelli Brown - Madison, SD
Statement of Interest: Since owning the theatre, we have been able to complete multiple renovations and improvements including fully remodeling the lobby, bathrooms and auditorium as well as many technology upgrades. None of this would be possible without a supportive community. Being involved and giving back to the community is a big part of who we are, not just at Dakota Cinema, but in our home as well. ERFCU has always been there for our family, and others in our community. I look forward to the opportunity to serve on the board to help continue that tradition.

We will be holding a drawing by randomly selecting one (1) East River FCU member to win $500! If the selected member is not in attendance at the Annual Meeting, the amounts will be rolled over to next year's Annual Meeting winnings. We hope to see you there!
