INTERNET PRIVACY POLICY
We value the trust that you place in us and in this online
service. The purpose of our internet privacy is to protect the privacy
and confidentiality of your personal information. No action can be
taken involving consumer data without the prior consent of the financial
institution.
Commitment to Consumer Privacy
We recognize and respect that consumers expect privacy
and confidentiality in all dealings with the Credit Union, and we pledge
that we will take the steps necessary to protect the privacy of information
shared with us.
Collection and Use of Consumer Information
The Credit Union collects, uses and retains information
about individual consumers when it is a necessary part of providing
our products and services. Any information gathered is only used for
internal review purposes.
Maintenance of Accurate Information
We have established procedures to ensure that a consumer's
financial information is accurate, current and complete in accordance
with reasonable standards. Our staff also responds to requests to correct
inaccurate information in a timely manner.
Email Address Use
If you choose to email the Credit Union, please be advised
that your email address and any other information contained in your
email header will be revealed to the Credit Union. We will use that
email only for response to your comment or question. Your email address
will not be sold or shared with any party other than the Credit Union
unless we are compelled to do so by law.
Employee Access to Information
We educate our employees on the importance of maintaining
consumer confidentiality, and we enforce our privacy policies with
appropriate disciplinary procedures.
Information Security
We operate secure data networks protected by industry
standard firewalls, encryption and password protection. The Credit
Union enforces security procedures to protect confidential information
from loss, misuse or alteration.
Restrictions on Use and Sharing of Personal Information
We will:
- Never sell our visitor list
- Collect and use information only for legitimate business
purpose
- Provide information when legally required for credit
reporting and fraud prevention
- Comply with all applicable privacy laws
We reserve the right to change this policy at any time
by posting a new privacy policy.
