Nominees for Open Board of Directors Positions

In accordance with the Credit Union’s bylaws, the Nominating Committee selected by the Board has chosen a slate of candidates to stand election for the Annual Meeting. The following individuals are being nominated by the committee for the open position:

  • Mike Jasper - Incumbent
  • Stacy Krusemark - Incumbent
  • Angela Neise

All elections are determined by plurality vote and will be by ballot at the Annual Meeting except where there is only one nominee for the expiring term. Each individual member, 18 years of age or older, represents one vote in ERFCU elections. Joint account holders and authorized account signers are not members in the their own right and are not eligible to vote. Members cannot vote by proxy.

Below, please find each candidate's statement of interest.

Mike Jaspers - Sioux Falls, SD - Incumbent
Statement of Interest: I joined the board of directors about 6 years ago to learn more about the financing and credit union world and to ensure we, as a board, are making decisions that will positively impact our members. I am interested in continuing to serve to help ERFCU grow and strengthen in the years ahead. Thank you for your consideration.

Mike Jaspers - Madison, SD - Incumbent
Statement of Interest: Serving as a board member for ERFCU for the past several years has been a rewarding experience. I would be happy to continue to serve and commit my time and effort to improving the credit union. Thank you for your consideration.

Angela Neises - Carthage, SD
Statement of Interest: I’ve spent my entire career in banking and lending, and that work has truly become a passion for me. Having lived my whole life in Lake County or Miner County, I care deeply about ensuring strong, reliable financial services for the people in this region. Although much has changed at the credit union since my time there, my experience as a former employee—combined with decades of lending and community‑focused financial work—gives me a solid foundation to contribute meaningfully as a board member. I would welcome the opportunity to support the credit union’s mission and serve the communities that have shaped my life. Thank you for your consideration.

The Credit Union will release its 2024 Annual Report during the Annual Meeting and then post here afterwards.
