Clements Named Marketing Specialist at East River FCU

Erica ClementsEast River Federal Credit Union recently welcomed Erica Clements, Marketing Specialist, to the team. Clements has been in marketing for a little over 10 years with the majority of her career spent in nonprofit organizations.

“I basically grew up using a credit union as my primary financial institution, so I saw firsthand what having a credit union in my very small hometown did and the support they give communities they served,” said Clements. “I am excited to have the opportunity to be part of East River FCU and its commitment to the financial well-being of our members.”

Clements and her family have been members of East River Federal Credit Union since they moved to Madison, which is one of the reasons she decided that the credit union was an organization she wanted to be involved in.

“The customer service and care that the team gives to each member is truly exceptional,” said Clements. “Financial matters can stir up a lot of emotions in people: fear, uncertainty and anxiety, but everyone here takes the time to work with members and give them the tools to feel confident in their financial future. I love that it’s not about the ‘sale’, it’s about the success of our members.”

“We are really excited to have Erica on our team as she brings with her experience in multiple areas of marketing,” said Tanya Hobson, President/CEO of East River Federal Credit Union. “We are looking forward to Erica helping to further develop our marketing efforts and assist in driving the growth of our Credit Union.”

Clements has lived in Madison since 2008 after graduating from Black Hills State University, in Spearfish, S.D., where she earned her bachelor’s degrees in Public Relations and Speech Communication. Clements also has a master’s degree in Strategic Leadership from BHSU. In her down time, she is a cycling instructor at the Community Center, and enjoys biking, paddle boarding, shopping and crafting with her two kids.
